Security Management SystemsUnder the Private Security Services Act (2004), the Private Security Authority is responsible for licensing and regulating the security industry in Ireland. Several sectors have already been licensed (including static guarding, door supervisors and alarm installers) with other sectors due to be licensed in the future. It is now an offence to provide a security service without the relevant license and it is also an offence to employ an unlicensed contractor. We have worked with over 100 companies across all sectors helping them to achieve their initial certification and subsequent PSA licence. We provide a full screening service for security employees and we also deliver a comprehensive suite of training programmes, including FETAC approved training. In addition, we provide all of the support services required both by security companies and users of security services on an on-going basis including risk assessments, system surveys, incident investigation, event management and project management.
