I.S.999:2004

The standard for the manned guarding and door supervisor sectors is I.S.999:2004 and it includes requirements such as:

• Training system

For new companies entering the industry, our typical approach is to spend 1 day with the company, explaining in detail the requirements of I.S.999:2004 and developing the relevent documentation. This allows our clients to achieve their Phase 1 certification and their PSA contractors’ licence. The client then operates their system for a period of time, at which point we follow up with a second visit to ensure that clients have implemented their system effectively.

For established companies, we provide a ‘pre-audit’ service whereby we audit companies prior to their annual surveillance audit. Our pre-audits are performed to the same level of detail as surveillance audits and any non-conformances can be identified and rectified prior to the actual audit.
